Last updated: September 10, 2025
Please review these Terms carefully before using the CalJoi website, mobile applications, and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the operator of CalJoi (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using any part of the CalJoi services—including the website at https://meetbe.app, our mobile applications, and any content or features we provide (collectively, the “Service”)—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Please read it carefully.
2. Interpretation
Capitalized terms have the meanings assigned in these Terms. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.

4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Links and Third-Party Services
The Service may reference or link to Third-Party Services. We do not control and are not responsible for Third-Party Services, their content, or their practices, including their privacy policies. Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and may be governed by separate terms and policies. We disclaim any liability for damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, Third-Party Services.
6. Not a Medical Service
The CalJoi app is not a medical application and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment plans. All features, including calorie tracking, goal setting, and meal analysis, are for informational and self-educational purposes only.
By using the app, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the dietary and health decisions you make. The app generates recommendations based on the data you voluntarily enter (such as weight, goal, and time frame), but it does not take into account medical conditions, personal health history, or unique nutritional needs.
We strongly recommend consulting with your physician, nutritionist, or other qualified healthcare provider before starting any diet, fitness program, or weight loss plan.
By continuing to use the app, you agree that the Company (Publosher) is not liable for any health issues, injuries, or consequences resulting from the use of CalJoi or decisions you make based on its content or features. All use is at your own risk.
7. Health Features: Age and Contraindications
- AI recognition and fasting features are not available to users under 14. If you are under 14, do not attempt to access or use these features.
- Do not use fasting features (or make significant dietary changes) if you have medical contraindications. If you are unsure whether fasting or dietary changes are appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional first.
8. AI Features and Provider
Some features of the Service use artificial intelligence to process the text or images you submit (for example, recognizing foods from photos or generating summaries). These AI features are powered by OpenAI, a Third-Party Service provider. When you use AI features, your inputs (and associated technical metadata necessary to provide the feature) may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing, and the resulting outputs are returned to you. Your use of AI features is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to do so to protect the Service, other users, or comply with law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including but not limited to ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its Affiliates, licensors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In all cases, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be limited to the total amount you actually paid to us through the Service, if any, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100) if you have not made any such payments—whichever is greater permitted by law, but not exceeding what is permitted under applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions of certain damages or limitations of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Where such laws apply, the foregoing exclusions and limitations will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its Affiliates, licensors, and suppliers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, be secure or error free, be compatible with your Device or other software, or that defects will be corrected.
Without limiting the foregoing, we make no representation or warranty that (i) the Service or any content thereon will be accurate, complete, reliable, current, or available; (ii) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error free; or (iii) the Service, our servers, or communications sent by us are free of malware or other harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the above disclaimers will apply to the greatest extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law principles. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
13. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern or dispute regarding the Service, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and we may pursue available remedies under applicable law.
14. EU Consumers
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the member state in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
15. U.S. Export and Sanctions Compliance
You represent and warrant that you are not (i) located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, or (ii) listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable U.S. export control and sanctions laws.
16. Severability; Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
17. Translation
These Terms may be made available in languages other than English. If there is any inconsistency, the English version controls.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes that materially affect your rights, we will provide reasonable advance notice—such as by posting the updated Terms and updating the “Last updated” date, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
